Meet The Team
Mike Porreca
Mike Porreca purchased Adrian’s Pizza in November of 2022 as a retirement activity, and has been investing in it and upgrading it ever since, transforming it into La Famiglia Gourmet Pizza Company. You might see Mike behind the counter answering the phone, grabbing pies from the pizza oven, working at a table on a laptop, scrubbing the floor, and at times, tossing a pizza to help out. Mike spends his free time at his other shop in Mars, PA which he owns with his nephew Paul, and working to transform, support, and help build other businesses. Prior to his time at the pizza shop, Mike spent a lifetime working in professional consulting services for small local consulting organizations that grew large enough to be acquired by national firms such as Dell Services, DXC Technology, and Modis.

Tripp Acker
Tripp has been tossing pizzas since he was in high school. He has traveled the country, serving customers with his unique gift of crafting delicious gourmet pizzas to please every palate. Tripp has been a fixture at the pizza shop for over a decade, and is currently the Pizza Architect at La Famiglia, as well as leading the team and managing the operations. Tripp is a genius at spinning pizzas – as well as platters, plates, and other assorted dishware. When not at the pizza shop, Tripp spends his free time researching and evaluating other culinary establishments, golfing and disc-golfing with friends, and spending quality time with family.

Joey Paul
Joey has been with La Famiglia for over two years and has been making pizzas since he started. Joey runs the shop when Tripp has the day off, as well as assisting with the data analytics needed to manage the business, and the technology back end. Before he was tossing pies at La Famiglia, Joey was throwing fastballs for an AAU team, traveling around the state and winning state championships that he’s too modest to talk about. Joey’s the guy that never raises his voice, and never gets flustered, no matter how busy the shop gets. When he is not at the pizza shop, Joey is attending college and pursuing a degree in hospitality management.

Lorenzo Rotelli
Lorenzo has been with La Famiglia for almost two years, progressing from front-end counter team member to front-of-house to chef on the hoagie bench. Lorenzo is one of the guys you may have heard in the kitchen. He can be a little rough around the edges at times, but knows how to get food out quickly. Lorenzo is currently a junior in high school, and an all-star track athlete with numerous trophies to show his commitment to the sport, along with a commendable 4.2 GPA.

Peter Smith
Pete Smith has been with La Famiglia for many years, managing the shop at times, all the while and tossing pizzas and making hoagies, and pursuing his bachelor’s degree, which he earned last year. After finishing the day at his white collar job where he's able to pursue his primary passion in computer science, Pete makes a guest appearance at La Famiglia every Friday. On those Friday, Pete "owns" the back corner of the kitchen, the fryer, and the stoves, and smoothly turns out a huge volume of food no matter how busy it gets. Prior to La Famiglia, Pete has served as a chef at multiple other locations, creating a variety of styles and dishes to delight customers.
