La Famiglia Gourmet Pizza Company, at 605 Thompson Run Road in the Ross Township area of Pittsburgh, PA is looking to grow our team! We are a small, locally-owned business with some of the very best pizza in the area, and looking for team members to join us in producing and delivering some absolutely delicious food that our customers have come to love. We are currently hiring for our Front Counter team, Cook / Food Prep team, and Delivery team.

Front Counter Team Qualifications

• No prior experience is necessary

• Must be 15 or older, with reliable transportation to and from our store

• Dependable, and able to work a consistent schedule, 12-16 hours per week, including early evening and weekend shifts

• Able to work in a team environment with a good work ethic and motivation

• Friendly, outgoing, and courteous to customers and team members with an extreme focus on customer service

• Responsibilities for this position include taking phone orders, processing on-line orders, assisting customers with their orders, and general help in the kitchen and dining room.  Training will be provided for all tasks

Cook / PREP Team Qualifications

• Experience working in a food service kitchen. Background in crafting hand-tossed pizzas, making hoagies, appetizers and salads, or similar items is a plus.

• A strong desire to "serve" the customer, by preparing gourmet pizzas, hoagies, appetizers, and salads that look good, and taste amazing, and to provide a good experience for our customers, whether they're dining in the shop, picking up their order, or we are delivering it; and to "serve" the team at La Famiglia by coming to work with a great attitude, being a team player, working hard, and enjoying our food.

• A focus on quality in what they do

• Reliable transportation to and from the shop, with the ability to work a consistent schedule, at least 12 hours per week and up to 40 hours per week, depending on availability.

• Punctual, diligent, dependable, with attention to detail

• Responsibilities will include food and ingredient prep, to get set up for the current or next day, cooking on the pizza line or hoagie/salad/appetizer line, and assisting customers and the team where necessary

​​Delivery Team (Driver) Qualifications

• Must be 17 or older, with valid driver's license and reliable transportation

• Able to work 8-32 hours per week with some early evening and weekend shifts; weekday and weekend shifts available.

• Punctual, diligent, dependable, with attention to detail
